MEDICAL STAFF

MINOR SURGERY

Many injuries that require minor surgery such as wounds needing sutures or removal of a foreign object can be treated at COM. If more involved medical treatment is required, we will refer the patient to an appropriate medical specialist.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT

Our staff is experienced in treating work-related injuries and illnesses. Our exclusive focus is on Occupational Health - not urgent care. This keeps employees productive by minimizing exposure to a waiting room of sick patients and keeps wait times for your employees to a minimum.

RETURN TO WORK EVALUATIONS

Following a work-related injury or illness, a professional occupational medicine provider can provide work restrictions as needed. Understanding the components of lost and restricted work days is as important to us as it is to YOU.

PHYSICAL THERAPY

A comprehensive physical therapy service is offered on-site at COM and features a full complement of therapy equipment to help employees get back to their maximum level of function following job-related injuries. Our PT department can also work with your safety program to provide job hazard analysis and training.

EMPLOYMENT PHYSICALS

Pre-employment physicals ensure that a candidate is healthy and able to do the job that is required. We'll even work with you to design a specific testing program that is appropriate for the unique conditions at your work site.

WELLNESS & PREVENTATIVE MEDICINE

We help keep your employees healthy and on the job by providing routine preventative health services such as flu shots. We can also help with a wide array of wellness initiatives such as smoking cessation, health risk appraisals, educational materials and training.

OSHA RESPIRATORY COMPLIANCE

This respiratory testing can done as part of a post-offer physical or when it's necessary for the employee to secure a physician approval to wear a respirator while on the job. We can provide on-site respirator fit test, training and respiratory medical questionnaires.

DRUG & ALCOHOL SCREENING

Routine testing is provided using the latest chemical and breath-based analysis procedures for both applicants and current employees. We can help you develop a drug testing program for your work force.

ON SITE X-RAY

X-ray helps to quickly determine the extent of many injuries, and the appropriate course of treatment. Having equipment and the radiographer on-site means that diagnosis can be made without a trip to the hospital.

AUDIOMETRIC TESTING

We offer baseline testing and on-site mobile testing. We have partnered with TK Group to provide on-site mobile testing. DOT COMPLIANCE

We offer DOT Physicals and Random Drug Testing Consortiums. COM provides random consortiums for large companies that require their own random pool or smaller companies can take advantage of being in our combined area business DOT consortium. COM's random consortium is free and we even provide the semi-annual random DOT compliance reports.

RISK MANAGEMENT
